About me

I'm a dedicated and compassionate psychologist with a focus on children and adolescents from the age of 4 through to adolescents. My professional journey has taken me across various corners of the globe, including Hungary, France, and Switzerland, where I've had the privilege of living and working. My practice follows an integrative approach, adapted to the needs of each individual. I am trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for children and adolescents and using elements of Solution Focused Therapy in my sessions.

For the past ten enriching years, I've been dedicated to supporting children and families both in the clinical field and within the dynamic environment of an international school. Here, I have had the honour of engaging with a diverse community, encompassing over 70 nationalities, while serving as a school counsellor and the designated safeguarding lead. This invaluable experience has profoundly shaped my understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives. It has uniquely equipped me to connect with and support young individuals from various cultural backgrounds, understanding the nuances that come with such diversity.

Thanks to my extensive personal and professional experiences, I possess a deep understanding of the expat lifestyle and its impacts on families and children. I'm committed to guiding and supporting them in this unique journey, addressing challenges and embracing opportunities along the way. As a psychologist, my aim is to create a nurturing environment, fostering resilience and growth in the expat adventure. Being a creative person at heart, I've always incorporated creativity into my practice. I believe in the power of innovative therapeutic tools, constantly exploring and experimenting with different approaches. This passion for creativity and healing eventually led me to develop a unique therapeutic tool, allowing me to tailor my approach to better meet the individual needs of the children and adolescents I work with.

Through my practice, I aim to provide a supportive space where young individuals can openly express themselves, explore their emotions, and develop the necessary skills to overcome obstacles. By embracing and celebrating diversity, I strive to create a truly inclusive and respectful environment where every child and adolescent feels valued and understood.

I'm dedicated to equipping young minds with valuable tools and coping strategies, setting a foundation that will serve them well as they grow into capable and resilient adults.

My experience

My academic journey began in Budapest, Hungary, where I initiated my psychology studies. Following this foundation, I pursued and completed my master's degree in clinical psychology in France, equipping me with essential knowledge and expertise.

Throughout my career, I have consistently worked with children in Hungary, France, and Switzerland. In these countries, I contributed my skills in various settings, including private practices and various mental health centres. My services ranged from conducting individual and group therapy sessions to providing prevention programs and parental guidance.

Throughout my experience, I collaborated with schools to deliver mental health training and support, focusing on both general mental health and specialized support for gifted children. This experience fuelled my interest in prevention and integrating mental health awareness into educational systems.

Transitioning to Switzerland,I extended my knowledge through a Cognitive-Behaviour Training for children and adolescents. I maintained a clinical role while actively pursuing my interest in prevention and mental health advocacy within school settings. This passion led me to my position as a school counsellor and safeguarding lead within an international school, where I play a pivotal role as part of the senior leadership team. As a designated safeguarding lead, my primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and well-being of all the students within the school community. This entailed coordinating and overseeing child protection measures, policies, and practices. I worked closely with teachers, staff, students, and parents to create a secure and nurturing environment where every child felt safe and supported.Within the international school setting, I initiated prevention workshops focusing on bullying, cyberbullying, and assertive communication. These workshops aimed to equip students with essential life skills.
